Adriana Johanna Haanen was the daughter of Casparis Haanen, a painter of interior scenes. Along with her siblings Georg, Elizabeth and Remi, Adriana learned to paint from her father. Her preferred subject was the still life, which she painted with a translucent, delicate touch. Adriana exhibited her works in Vienna from 1873 to 1882. |
