Often drawing his inspiration from American history, this New York based artist does replicas of stone walls and other man-made rock formations typical of New England. He carves the pieces from styrofoam and accompanies his sculpture with line drawings projected from slide projectors. An exhibition in New York at the Brian Tolle Gallery in spring, 1998 has above the rock formations screen projected images. They are based on testimony by 17th century women accused of being witches. ----------- (showing 500 of 702 characters). |
