This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| He was born in Fontainebleau in 1948.
A self-taught artist who works with bronze, copper, acrylic paint on carved wood, pine fiber, and canvas.
He is a painter and sculptor, who has made a living from his art for the past 33 years. He continues his artistic development with an originality that is both surprising and charming. His themes are old folks with appealing traits, earthy characters, amusing settings and skilfully distorted scenes. His ability to pay attention to details while maintaining thematic unity gives each of his works a unique style. The artist cleverly sheds new light on country life, farm animals, domestic chores and scenes from daily life, which his sense of humor, guided by his inspiration, transforms into a huge fresco that is constantly renewed by everyday events.
