Philippe Pasqua (1965-)
Born in Grasse, France, he is a self-taught painter, creating large paintings and drawings from photographs of selected individuals in large, painterly strokes. As a result, the terms “abject”, “haunting”, and “disturbing” have often been used to describe Pasqua’s works.
