|  Born in Czechloslavakia, he moved to Alberta, Canada in 1969. In 1978, he began working in bronze in addition to rendering extremely accurate scenes of western life in pastel. He has also created monuments including the statue of W.C. Van Horne at the Banff Springs Hotel near Calgary. |
