Enrique d'Aoust Jacquet was a Belgian born painter who portrayed on canvas the essence and feelings of Mexican people. He left his home at 18 and traveled aound Europe for a while. After he returned to his native country, he went back to school, first, to the Academy of Design in Verviers, then to the Saint Luc's School of Art in Liege. A few year later, he also obtained a doctorate degree in philosophy and literature. He reappeared in Spain, where (showing 500 of 1656 characters). |
