Gerard d’Albouy was born in 1912 and died in 1985. Known by his alias Ouy, he was a Parisian hat maker renowned in the Parisian fashion circles. His hobbies included painting and collecting art and antiques. Gerard’s painting style was inspired by the post-impressionism school. The art he collected followed the spirit of Andre Breton and surrealist objects.
