Born in Brussels, Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet studied sculpture with Jef Lambeaux in Belgium. She moved to Paris, France and exhibited for the first time at the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1913. In 1929 she was elected a permanent member and marked this occasion with the sculpture Dreams are soap bubbles. From 1937 to 1940, she exhibited at the Salon des Independents in Paris and joined the Union of women painters and sculptors. Her work, strongly influe (showing 500 of 937 characters). |
