Clement Lemieux (1946)
He is a well known Canadian sculptor and painter, born in Lévis, Quebec, a suburb (across the St. Lawrence River) of his current home Quebec City.
His most famous medium is vividly colored, highly polished, figurative and abstract wood carvings. He has also created abstract expressionist paintings in acrylics. The subjects of his sculptures include figures in movement, dancers, and family; and as an abstractionist – color, shape and texture.  (showing 500 of 2597 characters). |
