| | Exploring the idea of origins of the universe, he had a one-man exhibition in Fall, 1998 at Dolly Fiterman Gallery in Minneapolis. His inspiration is particles of the universe such as emerging galaxies, particle formations, and pulsars. He works with colored pencil, casein, and computer graphics, and makes stylized marks influenced by his past study of Arabic script and calligraphy. The intended result is marks that build to color patterns resembling magnetic fields, and spirals and long ovals emerge suggestings universes around suns, atoms, and tornado funnels. |
