Biography from Williams Fine Art:
| Ronald Lawson grew up on an Indian reservation in Utah, hunting, fishing and trapping with his father at every opportunity. Eventually, the high mountain lakes, streams and wildlife became the subject matter for his art. Indian camps were a part of the landscape in years gone by and he felt that this should not be forgotten.
While doing his genealogy, Lawson discovered that he is a descendant of Pocahontas, which may explain the added interest in Indian lore.
Together, Ron and Vanda Lawson have 15 children, with 6 still at home, which makes for an exciting life style. |
