| Painting since 1972, Dennis Schmidt worked as a welder and machinist from 1966 to 1976 when he left to embark on his full-time career as a painter. From 1979 to 1990, he also did numerous limited edition prints of his work. In his 28 years as a professional artist, Mr. Schmidt is the recipient of many awards. Among these are numerous Best of Show, Gold and Silver Medals, eight consecutive popular choice awards at the Texas Ranges Hall of Fame as well as several Artist awards from his peers. < (showing 500 of 2677 characters). |
