| A proponent of realist painting, Andrea Smith has worked in many countries. She was raised in Victoria, Australia where she earned an undergraduate degree in ceramics and photography at Melbourne University. Eight years later she went to Italy, where she studied for three years with Daniel Graves at the Florence Academy of Art and spent five years teaching art in Florence. Then winning a stipend from Australia to visit museums worldwide, she moved to New York City and studied w (showing 500 of 1621 characters). |
