Mehrdad Sadri,
Born in Teheran-  Iran

Studied decorative and textile arts at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna from 1968-1973, and art education from 1979-1984.

Since 1985, teaching at the Federal Institute of Decorative Arts in Vienna.
Austrian honorary citizenship in 1984.
Member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus.

Numerous exhibitions in Austria and abroad

1989 - "6th International Textiles Symposium at Graz"
1992 - "15th International Textiles", Biennale at Lausanne
1993 - "Medium Textil" at the Darmstadt Art Hall
1993 - "Miniarttextil" at Como
