Born on November 11, 1895, Chester (Chet) Berg grew up around the Gold & Silver mining areas of Nevada, and Mexico. He eventually settled in El Cajon, California (near San Diego) where he lived for many years. He is known for his impressionist (almost abstract) painted landscape renditions of California, and the Southwest.
For over 20 years he maintained a Studio/Gallery in the Spanish Village area of Balboa Park in San Diego. Spanish Village is well known as the (showing 500 of 1010 characters). |
