| Born in Oakland, CA on Oct. 14, 1919. During the late 1930s Nagai taught air-brush techniques and drawing at the Student Art Center in Oakland. After internment in a camp in Utah during WWII, he settled in Chicago and abandoned art. He was a resident of Skokie, IL until his demise on Aug. 7, 2008.
