Victoria Davila (1950-)
She sculpts her pet birds, cats, natural subjects, models and other people's dogs in her Santa Fe, New Mexico studio. Kernels of corn, bunches of bananas, a fragment of a crab shell and oak leaves are some of the natural subjects she has used in her still life art.
Education: 1967–1968 Studied drawing with Francisco Zuñiga at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura y Escultura in Mexico City. BFA 1968-1972 Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA MFA 19 (showing 500 of 1298 characters). |
