The following information was provided by Jo Ellen Snyder:
My grandmother Nanny Heard was born on February 17, 1903. She first came to Yucca Valley in 1910 from Lordsburg (now called La Verne) California. She married George Morton and she changed her name to Lucile. She had two children and when she later retired she moved back to Yucca Valley with her husband. There she built her home and art studio.
She enjoyed doing still lives, florals and lands (showing 500 of 1232 characters). |
