| Born in Missouri on Sept. 30, 1907. Jane Ames studied at the Otis Art Institute during 1926-28. While there, she met her husband-to-be, Wilfred Jackson. She remained in southern California until her death at her home on Balboa Island on Dec. 23, 1987.
