| Born in Berkeley, CA on Oct. 3, 1882. Jones studied for four years in Paris at Académies Julian and Colarossi. Active in the San Francisco Bay area at the turn of the century, she taught French at Mills College for a few years before resigning to pursue her art career. In 1910 she married Willys Peck and stopped painting to raise a family. After settling in San Mateo, CA, she lived there until her death on Oct. 16, 1951. Her rare works include portraits and landscapes. Exh: Mark Hopkins Inst., 1905; Berkeley Art League, 1908.
