Born in 2003, Kieron Williamson of Holt, Norfolk, England began painting harbor scenes in watercolor on a family vacation in Devon and Cornwall in 2008. Experts agree that the perspective, shadow and reflections in his works express an ability well beyond the young artist's years. He has since taken some art classes and expanded his subject matter to include rural vistas, animal portraits and landmarks.
Asked about his painting, Kieron said: 'I like painting because it's fun and inspiring. It makes me think of places I can't see."
Caroline Pennington his art teacher says: "His work is phenomenal. He gets up at dawn and paints until he goes to school. He pops into the gallery nearly every day; he is always looking at other artists' work and although he's not copying, it is as if there is a camera in his head taking it all in for future reference."
Kieron's father is an art dealer and his mother a nutritionist.
