Danetta Mitchell (Mrs. Eckdall) died Sept 10, 1944 in Emporia, Lyon
Co., Kansas. She was the wife of Jonas E. Eckdall, and had an adopted
daughter, Virginia S. Eckdall, who married Luzerne Poe Haning II. Their
daughter, Danetta Jo Haning was named after Danetta Mitchell Eckdall. Information provided by Marcia-Haning-Martin (family member).
