In her paintings Mara Abboud interweaving a palette of spectacular colors with fantasy designs from a myriad of cultures, with the goal of achieving a jewel-like-tapestry effect on her canvases reminiscent of mosaic tiles and stained glass. Exhibitions include 1998 International Artist of the Year; International Women's Conference, 1980; Artist of the Year, Santa Barbara Arts Festival, 1977; International Artist of the Year, and International Beaux Arts.
