Cedric Baxter (1930-)
Primarily a figure painter of dancers, acrobats, etc., he uses oil, acrylic as well as collage as medium.
Born in 1930 of British parents in Rangoon, Burma, he immigrated to Australia in 1947 and became an Australian citizen in 1974. His work has been extensively exhibited in Australia and is in the collections of Perth Technical College, Edith Gowan University, University of Western Australia, Claremont Teachers College, Perth, the City of Fremantle and othe (showing 500 of 1820 characters). |
