| | Lorenzo Phelps Latimer, Jr was born in California in 1896, the son of artist Lorenzo Palmer Latimer. For several years the younger Latimer taught agriculture at the University of New Hampshire. A talented amateur watercolorist, his style and palette are identical to those of his father's. This rare piece is signed "L. P. Latimer, Jr." | Source:
