| Sibyl Swift Sanderson was born in Sacramento, CA on Dec. 13 1865. Sibyl Sanderson went to Paris in 1881 to study singing and painting. While studying at the Paris Conservatory, she made her operatic debut in 1888 under the name Ada Palmer. She married Antonio Terry in 1897, and died in Paris on May 15, 1903.
