Anthony Pessler (1962-)
An early attachment to nature has guided Pessler's painting for many years, as he has been deeply influenced by the locale where he was raised—rural North Dakota—as well as by the environment where he current lives—Phoenix, Arizona.
In a number of his recent landscape paintings, imaginary birds representing Pessler search for ideal "states of being" that the artist strives for. In Drift, the low-flying bird takes a passive approach. Accord (showing 500 of 15176 characters). |
