Marlene lives and works primarily in the Hudson Valley, although she also travels to other locations including Woodstock, New York. Primarily a pastelist, her award-winning plein-air landscapes, figurative, and still life paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States. She is on the faculty of the Highland Cultural Center, Dutchess Community College, and also teaches workshops in pastel.
