Louise Tennyson was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on November 15, 1931.  Tennyson had an art gallery in Palm Springs during the 1980s while active in the local art scene.  In her leisure she led other members of the Desert Art Center on painting trips into the surrounding desert.  Shaver's Well in the Mecca Hills was one of her favorite spots to paint.  One of her landscapes hangs in Indian Wells City Hall. She died in Palm Desert, CA on July 14, 2010.  She was the wife of Floyd Goble.
