Jordan Abeshouse (1923 – 1989)
A well-known teacher and artist in the New Haven area, Jordan Abeshouse studied at the Yale School of the Fine Arts* and received his M.F.A. in 1951. He taught in the public schools and became Supervisor of Art in the Wallingford school system and Head of the Art Department at Lyman Hall High School. He was Professor of Art and Dean of Students at the Paier College of Art and also taught at Southern Connecticut State University. (showing 500 of 1503 characters). |
