| Ronald Cassius Hurst was born in Custer, South Dakota on Oct. 12, 1907. By 1920 Hurst was living in Casper, WY. He then lived in Sedona, AZ before settling in San Diego County, CA. He died there on Sept. 1, 1980. He was the husband of artist Martha Eleanor Hurst.
