Artist Statement:
I was born on Jan 23 1949 in Boston, MA. Up until 1984 I painted in oil and the work was for the most part figurative and tonal in manner. From 1974 until 1978 when I lived in Paris and Boston I worked solely in pastel and watercolor. From 1984 until the year 2000 the work absorbed different influences starting with the Fauves between 1984 until 1990 and moving on in 1990 w (showing 500 of 5073 characters). |
