|  Born in Fayette, Missouri, Roger Medearis became a painter known for his depictions of midwest and far west landscape views.
He was a student of Thomas Hart Benton and John S deMartelly at the Kansas City Art Institute, which he attended from 1938 to 1941.

Roger Norman Medearis died in San Marino. CA. on the 5th of July, 2001. He was a cousin to my mother, Hazel (Medearis) Pearson.
