A painter of landscapes, still lives and portraits Rugh was trained in classic atelier methods of the masters, but also enjoys contemporary techniques and discovering new ways of putting his own special style to enliven familiar themes.
Rugh was born in Germany and spent his early years in the Middle East. He studied ceramics and woodworking in Cairo as a teenager. He attended the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore.&n (showing 500 of 1834 characters). |
