Born in Queens, New York, (possibly in 1936 rather than 1935) Mike Pearsall is known for his watercolor and ink drawings of trains and railroad yards, an interest he developed in his youth with his father who took him to the Pennsylvania Railroad yards.
He studied in Manhattan at the school of Visual Arts where he also worked as a commercial artist before settling permanently in Seattle, Washington. There he founded a publishing company called Pacific Fast Mail, which produced model (showing 500 of 831 characters). |
