David Hunter, a native of Central Florida, inherited his father's artistic talent and began to draw at an early age. Although David has worked with oils, acrylics, and watercolors for some time, he discovered his strong attraction for pen and ink while illustrating his microscopic findings for his master's thesis in biology. The young artist began exhibiting his drawings in the summer of 1977. The response to his individualistic style and subject matter was highly encouraging.
