First generation, born in New York City of Honduran ancestry, I am a self-taught artist.
As "Plein Air" painter, portrait, figurative and abstract artist, I enjoy painting portraits of indigenous people in ceremony, landscapes of the Northern New Mexico area on location and monochrome printing of abstracts.
Dreams and the land that surrounds me have inspired most of my work. The meditative state that I evolve into when I paint adds life and vitality to the work. What is inside of me, my spirit manifests the color and images onto the canvas. The introduction of monochromatic prints has given me a new dimension to the work, which in and of itself a splendor!
