| Born in Vienna, Virginia, Lillian Abbot, noted for her floral still lifes, settled in Washington DC and was active in the Washington Society of Artist. She married Charles Greeley Abbot, who was Assistant Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution.
She also lived in Mount Wilson, California.
