Metz Castleberry was born and raised in Oklahoma, and has spent much of his life there, studying at the University of Tulsa and at Eastern New Mexico University. He now makes his home north of Weatherford, Texas, where he keeps his studio in addition to a bronze foundry to cast his sculptures.
Castleberry is noted particularly for his Western sculpture, composing active scenes illustrating real, but rarely seen, situations. He intends for his work to possess a kinetic quality (showing 500 of 822 characters). |
