Georges Frederic Roetig (b.1873 / d.1961)
Georges Roetig was was born in Le Havre, France on October 1, 1873.
Roetig began his studies in Paris. His tutors included B. Constant, J. Lefebvre and Jean Paul Laurens. In 1894 Roetig began exhibiting at Salon des Artistes Frananais. He gained much acclaim and was awarded several prestigious prizes and medals in 1902, 1904 and the Prix Rosa Bonheur in 1913.
