Frank Stack was born in Houston, TX on October 31, 1937, and is best known as a painter, printmaker and cartoonist.
Frank Stack graduated with a BFA from the University of Texas in Austin in 1959. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and received his MA from the University of Wyoming. Between 1963 and 2001, he served as an instructor and professor of art at the University of Missouri-Columbia. There he taught painting, drawing, watercolor, printmaking and comic art. In 2001 he retir (showing 500 of 1514 characters). |
