The following information was provided by Judith Goode Taylor, granddaughter of the artist, December 2004:
Grandpa Henry was a very talented artist who painted and played the cello and other instruments. He spoke about five languages. My aunt, who was his daughter, told me that he played with Victor Herbert in New York. I was also told that he was a dress designer in New York and Grandma Julia did the sewing. I would think they had other employees, but I'm not sure. At one point, he pl (showing 500 of 1067 characters). |
