| Jack Barnett does representational paintings, which explore fundamental
components of the figure, landscape and collage, retaining their formal
roots but diverging into disparate interpretations of their
relationships.
Barnett began his art career as a landscape painter in 1965. When he
began college at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia,
he started experimenting with abstraction, making collages. These works
incorporated the juxtaposition of unrelated (showing 500 of 11925 characters). |
