Biography from Knapple Gallery:
Born in Rome, Italy, Lola Scarpitta became a Neo-realist painter who studied at CUNY-Brooklyn in the 1980's.

She has exhibited in New York City and Los Angeles.

Lola is the daughter of NYC artist Salvatore Scarpitta and grand-daughter of sculptor Salvatore Cartaino Scarpitta, Sr.
