"Bill" Zivic was born in Ironwoood, Michigan in 1930. The son of an iron worker, Zivic spent part of his early life in the mile deep mines of his native state. In his lifetime he has been an artist, soldier, merchant seaman, iron miner, and lawman. His travels have taken him around the world. In 1960 he brought his family to the West. It was then he began creating Southwest images in oils, acrylics, and in bronze. Zivic is primarily a self taught artist. Today he creates images of the ea (showing 500 of 1008 characters). |
