Paul W. Crutcher was born in Kansas on July 6, 1898. He relocated to the San Diego, California in the mid 20th Century. Primarily self taught, he painted impressionist, plein air-California landscape and seascape images. He exhibited his work in the San Diego, California area. Crutcher died in San Diego on March 1, 1974.
