Charlotte Jackson was born in Brooklyn, New York 1926, and studied at the Traphagen Art Institute. Her specialties are portraiture, flowers and street scenes in a very realistic style
Henny Youngman, the comedian, liked her work so much that for her he sponsored a one-woman show that gave her an entree into the entertainment world. She got many commissions from top entertainers and show people.
Her works adorn many restaurants in New York and Hollywood, and the Mirage hotel in Las (showing 500 of 871 characters). |
