Myron Hunt was born in Sutherland, Massachusetts, on February 27, 1868.
He completed his high school education in Chicago, graduating from Lake View High School. He attended Northwestern University from 1888-1890 and
Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1890 and 1893. Myron Hunt''s years in Chicago (1896-1903) were formative ones for the architect himself as well as for Chicago architecture.
Hunt, who returned there at the age of twenty-eight to take a position (showing 500 of 1771 characters). |
