| The following, submitted January 2005, is from the artist.
Ryan Burkhart was born in Marion, Ohio in 1971. He was educated at Ohio State University where he studied creative writing and painting, drawing and printmaking. He has a 1996 B.F.A. with Distinction from Ohio State. He sought and received his M.F.A. from Texas Tech University in 2000, where he studied screenprinting with Lynwood Kreneck. Currently, he teaches in the Art Department at the University of Central Florida, Orlando.
He has collaborated with other artists including Steven Sorman, John J. O'Connor, David Humphrey, Timothy Berry, Lynwood Kreneck, Karen Kunc, and others. |
