| Don Rosa was born in Louisville, KY on June 29, 1951. Rosa began cartooning as a young boy and went on to make it his career. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1973. His cartoon in the Louisville Times led to his work for publishers Oberon and Egmont publishers. In 1991 he started creating “The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck” which won an Eisner Award in 1995. Today he lives in a log house in the mountains near Louisville.
